Victoria Falls, Zambezi National Park

Discover Victoria Falls, based in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, is owned and operated by respected local guide Charles Brightman, who is known widely for his conservation and wildlife work as well as his guiding skills.

Charles has worked as a Professional Guide for the last 25 years and has an extensive knowledge of the local flora and fauna, specialising in Private Guided Safaris (including walking safaris, specialist wildlife and birding tours), as well as customised accommodation and safari itineraries.

Victoria Falls town is surrounded by National Park and the Victoria Falls themselves are listed as a World Heritage Site. Discover Safaris offer a wide variety of safari and activity options in the Victoria Falls and surrounding region - from adrenalin activities such as white water rafting and bungee jumping, safari options such as bush walks, game drives and elephant back safaris, river cruises and canoeing to helicopter flights over Victoria Falls and much more.

The Falls are also the perfect gateway to the wider region and some of Africa's most spectacular locations, from Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe, to Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta in Botswana, and offers transport connections to Botswana, Namibia and Zambia.

Discover Victoria Falls aims to provide the highest quality of safari experience. With local knowledge of the Victoria Falls and surrounding region the company strives to offer the best travel options available, and can help you develop a dream safari itinerary from the options available in Victoria Falls and the surrounding region.

Discover Safaris believe that tourism can benefit wildlife conservation and local communities, and are committed to minimising environmental impact and supporting local conservation and community projects. Charles dedicates much of his time to the Victoria Falls Anti-Poaching Unit (VFAPU) which he established in 1999 and which he has developed into a well respected anti-poaching initiative.

To walk with Charles through the amazing Zambezi National Park upstream from Victoria Falls is a real treat. His evident love and understanding of the bush, his extraordinary knowledge and a wonderful ability to identify and explain, make for an engaging and fascinating ramble. Our time together was meant to span three hours but true to his enthusiastic and generous nature, lasted well over five. Thanks very much Charles ~ we are looking forward to next time!

If you are a lover of nature and wilderness, you couldn't have a better choice of guide to show you round the Victoria Falls and its beautiful Zambezi National Park, than Charles Brightman. His passion and devotion to conserving this place is extraordinary. Don't miss an early morning game-drive and walk in the Park with Charles.
