Wilderness Air (Zimbabwe) & Wilderness Touring

Mana Pools, Victoria Falls

Wilderness Air is proud to be the air support arm of Wilderness Safaris, a responsible ecotourism and conservation company with private access to nearly all of southern Africa’s finest wildlife areas.

Wilderness Air's Zimbabwe operation is based in Victoria Falls.    We fly on a daily scheduled basis in the area bounded by Harare, Ruckomechi in the lower Zambezi, Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park.   Within these areas Wilderness Air primarily services lodges owned and operated by Wilderness Safaris Zimbabwe, namely Makalolo and Little Makalolo Camps, Davison’s, Linkwasha Camps and Ruckomechi Camp & Little Ruckomechi

Wilderness Air aims to provide a safe, efficient and reliable service to passengers travelling between the Wilderness Safaris properties.  We operate a varied fleet of light aircraft, chosen for their ability to transport visitors to remote wilderness destinations with short, dirt-surfaced landing strips.

Wilderness Air is privileged to fly into some of the most pristine wilderness destinations in the world in both Zimbabwe and Botswana.

It is through these wilderness areas that we are able to offer guests a unique and life-changing experience.

We believe flying is an integral part of guest’s travel experience and therefore our pilots are required to have a fundamental enthusiasm for being in such areas.

Wilderness Touring  is the private touring division of Wilderness Safaris in the Zambezi region.

The company has offices, guides and a fleet of 30 vehicles in the Victoria Falls/Livingstone area.  The vehicles offer maximum comfort and all-round visibility, and are available for scheduled groups or private touring.

With an intimate knowledge of the area, Wilderness Touring's hand-picked team of experienced consultants strive to stay abreast of new activities, restaurants, places of interest, arts and cultural events to ensure a perfect itinerary. Guides have been chosen for their specialist knowledge, their personable dispositions and their ability to share knowledge in a way that will inspire interest.

A wide range of full-and half-day excursion options is on offer, exploring the numerous activities and experiences available in the area.
