Wildlife, abounds in the floodplain areas of Mana Pools, including kudu, zebra, impala and waterbuck. Elephant take advantage of the plentiful albida trees (Faidherbia albida - more commonly known as the Ana Tree or Winter Thorn) in the area, and the predators, including lion, wild dog and leopard are often sighted, as well as large concentrations of buffalo. Bird watching is also a great attraction of the area.
