The Zambezi Elephant Fund
John was instrumental, along with a small team of like-minded individuals and together with the Zimbabwe National Parks and Wildlife Authority, relevant NGOs, the private sector and Zambezi valley operators, in setting up a collaborative anti-poaching fund, The Zambezi Elephant Fund, which facilitates fundraising and supports on-the-ground anti-poaching efforts in the Zambezi Valley.
