Maabwe Bay is a small community settled on the shores of Lake Kariba near the Sebungwe River Mouth, about half way between Mlibizi and Binga.
On offer to self-drive visitors are shady campsites with clean ablutions offering hot showers, flush toilets and a sink for dishwashing as well as 220V electricity. There is also a lapa and several barbeque areas.
Also available are a self-catering chalet which sleeps 4 and a self-catering guest room sleeping two. They are fully equipped for self-catering, with kitchen facilities, bedding, linen, toilet paper and soap supplied.
Both the campsite and the chalets have stunning views over Lake Kariba.
Activities include birding and fishing, sundowner boat cruises on the lake or simply relaxing and enjoying the view.
