Sunset Lakeview is a luxurious lodge, situated on Mica Point, one of the hilltop viewpoints of Kariba Town.  It is a home away from home, offering every comfort, with beautiful sunsets and stunning views over the lake and the Zambian hills.

ACCOMMODATION:  Sunset Lakeview consists of a Main Lodge and two self-catering cottages.  It has an outdoor swimming pool and covered parking. 

The Main Lodge has 4 large, luxury, en-suite rooms (twin or double) with air conditioning, TVs, WIFI, minibars, safes, showers and bath tubs. A cook is on hand to provide breakfast and fresh-made meals.

The two cottages are available on a self-catering basis.  Each has 2 double rooms with TVs and air conditioning. The rooms have sliding doors leading out onto verandahs where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful lake view while watching birds coming to drink and splash in the birdbath.

You can enjoy swimming and relaxing by the swimming pool or have a drink by the bar. There is a spacious braai/barbeque and sundowner area and an attractive garden.


GAME VIEWING & ACTIVITES: Driving or walking around Kariba you can see plenty of wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, zebras, hyenas, baboons, and if you are lucky, in the evening, lions or leopards. At the lakeside you will find waterbuck, crocodiles and hippos.

Activities which can be arranged from the Lodge include:-

Kariba Town - cultural visits in Kariba, visits to the Dam wall, the memorial Church at Kariba heights or the craft markets, as well as driving or walking safaris and visits to the Crocodile Farm.

Lake Kariba is well known for tiger and bream fishing. The lodge can organise fishing trips, day trips on the lake, sunset cruises and safari trips 30 kilometers across Lake Kariba by speed boat to the Matusadona National Park.

Mana Pools 4x4 hire: The Lodge has a 4x4 with a rooftop tent which can be hired by visitors wanting to drive to Mana Pools which is well known for its wildlife sightings, including painted dogs, leopards, lions and many other animals.
