Kazuma Safari Camp is an eco-friendly, self-drive, self-catering luxury tented camp set on the fringes of the Kazuma depression within the Kazuma Pan National Park in Zimbabwe.

This small and relatively unknown National Park is located approximately half way between Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park along the Botswana border. It has a dense and very diverse animal and bird population.

This intimate, unfenced camp, created for the discerning lover of the African bush, offers guests a true wilderness experience.

Guest accommodation consists of elevated en-suite tents, each with expansive doors opening onto a private balcony with sunrise views over a permanent waterpan. There are two Family Tents which each include a double bed and 2 full size single beds.  The three remaining tents can be set up either as Doubles or Twins.  Each has a private en-suite bathroom/dressing room with a lovely hot shower and separate toilet facilities.  All tents have mosquito nets, fans, lighting, and USB charging points.

The camp is designed for self-catering, but full-board and exclusive-use options are available on request, and staff are on-site to ensure a comfortable stay.

The barbeque area and raised swimming pool sunset deck overlook the Kazuma Pan Depression and its wildlife.

An open sided Bedouin style stretch tent hidden amongst the trees, offers a unique dining and lounge area, set adjacent to a fully equipped kitchen, with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay.

This camp has been designed for the more discerning nature lover who will love its simplicity, uniqueness, and minimal impact on the environment within which the camp is set.

Kazuma Safari Camp! Wow what an amazingly stunning jewel we found. That unicorn you are always looking for. Kazuma National Park, right next to Hwange. Not camping, but not hugely expensive lodge. The team have done an amazing job and thought of everything you need to be so comfortable. Fully kitted kitchen for 2 x groups if necessary. Super comfortable beds. Plunge pool and deck. Very competent staff. Though self catering, there is a cook there if needed. Can't praise it enough and the photos speak for themselves. Not another human to be seen either for 2 days!

Under the vast expanse of the African sky, the night comes alive with a symphony of sounds. The air is thick with the earthy scent of dried grass and Teak forests. Moonlight casts an ethereal glow, illuminating the silhouettes of wandering elephants and the stealthy movements of a prowling leopard. The distant roar of a lion echoes across the depression, sending shivers down human spines, while the incessant hum of cicadas envelops the night. As the campfire crackles and dances, stories of ancient vibes and wild adventures are shared, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and wonder. It is a night where the wild heart of Kazuma beats fervently, offering a thrilling and unforgettable experience in the luxurious Kazuma Safari Camp and the abundance of the African bush.

Our trip to Kazuma was wonderful ! The camp itself is extremely well thought out and provisioned. Well done indeed. The birding, even in winter, is excellent.

We just spent 3 fabulous nights at Kazuma Safari Camp. The camp is built to the highest standards with great attention to detail. Each raised tent is perfectly laid out with sliding front doors opening to a deck and a stunning view to wake up to. The communal lounge and kitchen are equally well thought out and cater to every need. Evans, John, and Clement are a wonderful team who took excellent care of us. Despite recent rains making some roads muddy and the grass high, we still saw sable, roan, kudu, steenbok, wildebeest, warthogs, jackals, hippos, a crocodile, and many wonderful birds. Kazuma Safari Camp is fantastic, we definitely look forward to returning often!
