Air Zimbabwe passengers now required to pay airport tax in cash on departure

As from 10th November 2014, all passengers travelling on AIR ZIMBABWE flights - international or domestic, are now required to pay their aiport taxes in cash at the airport prior to their departure (instead of them being included in the ticket).

The taxes are for a Passenger Service Charge (PSC) and an Aviation Infrastructure Development Fund (AIDEF) charge and are payable directly to the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe (CAAZ) at its receipting offices located at Harare, Bulawayo, Victoria Falls and Kariba airports.

The total charges per passenger are as follows:-
International departure:  US$50 (or equivalent)
Domestic departure:  US$15  (or equivalent)

Fees are payable in cash in US$, Rand, Euro, Pula or GBPounds equivalent

Note that this arrangement applies to Air Zimbabwe passengers only.
